RankPoll collects only essential data needed to operate our service: poll content, responses, and basic usage analytics. We do not collect personal information unless explicitly provided.
Google sign-in data: RankPoll only uses Google sign-in for polls that have voter verification enabled. In these cases, we use your Google account solely to prevent duplicate voting. We do not collect or store personal Google account information such as your name, email address, phone number, or profile picture. We only store a unique identifier that allows us to verify that each vote comes from a unique Google account. This identifier cannot be used to access any of your Google account information or to identify you personally.
Your data is used exclusively for providing poll functionality, generating analytics, improving our service, and preventing abuse. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Poll results are only visible to those with the poll link unless made public by the creator. Responses are anonymous by default.
Polls and their data are retained for 1 year after the last vote, after which they are automatically deleted. You can manually delete your polls at any time.
For polls with voter verification enabled, the Google account identifiers used to prevent duplicate voting are retained only for the duration of the poll's existence in our system. Once a poll is deleted (either manually or automatically after 1 year of inactivity), all associated Google verification data is permanently deleted.
